Project Description:

GreenStream B.V. is the owner of Gas Compressor station to transport natural gas from the Libyan coast (Mellitah) to Italy (Gela, in Sicily), connecting physically Libya and Italy through the Mediterranean Sea with 32“ offshore pipeline.

As part of the plan to recovery a stable energy market, a new Let Down Station is required to supply gas for Libyan domestic market from existing Greenstream Gas Compression station.

Instrumentation, Automation and Telecommunication activities performed:

Auriga Consulting provide engineering and consultancy services as part of PMC contract signed by GreenStream and Saipem.

• Third party verification of engineering documents regarding the construction of new Let Down Station complete with Pressure Reduction, HIPPS, Blowdown system, Safety Systems and Gas Custody Transfer Metering package. Auriga provide directly support to Contractors and Final Client for detail engineering, procurement and vendors follow-up.

HSE and F&G activities performed:

• Third party verification of engineering documents regarding the construction of new Let Down Station including escape ways, fire detection, firefighting, Hazardous Area definition and layout. Auriga provide directly support to Contractors and Final Client for detail engineering, procurement and vendors follow-up.
